Simple Present Régulier
Le présent simple décrit des actions habituelles, des vérités générales et des états. C'est le temps le plus basique en anglais. Pour la plupart des verbes, on ajoute -s ou -es pour la troisième personne du singulier (il, elle, on).

Simple Past Régulier
Le passé simple décrit des actions complètes à un moment précis dans le passé. Les verbes réguliers ajoutent -ed. Il existe environ 200 verbes irréguliers courants avec des formes passées uniques qui doivent être apprises individuellement.
She spoke to the manager yesterday. — Elle a parlé au directeur hier.

Present Continuous Régulier
Le présent continu décrit des actions qui se déroulent en ce moment même ou des situations temporaires. Il se forme avec am/is/are + verbe-ing. Il est également utilisé pour des arrangements futurs définis.
She is speaking to a client at the moment. — Elle parle à un client en ce moment.

Past Continuous Régulier
Le passé continu décrit des actions qui étaient en cours à un moment précis dans le passé, souvent interrompues par un autre événement. Il se forme avec was/were + verbe-ing.
She was speaking when the fire alarm went off. — Elle parlait quand l'alarme incendie s'est déclenchée.

Present Perfect Régulier
Le présent parfait relie le passé au présent. Il décrit des expériences, des événements récents ou des situations qui ont commencé dans le passé et continuent maintenant. Il se forme avec 'have/has' + participe passé.
She has spoken at over fifty conferences. — Elle a pris la parole lors de plus de cinquante conférences.

Past Perfect Régulier
Le plus-que-parfait décrit une action achevée avant un autre événement passé — le passé du passé. Il se forme avec 'had' + participe passé. Il implique toujours un point de référence dans le passé.

Future Perfect Régulier

Subjonctif
Conditional Régulier
Le conditionnel décrit des situations hypothétiques et leurs résultats. Formé avec 'would' + infinitif de base. Utilisé dans les propositions conditionnelles, les demandes polies et le discours indirect concernant des événements futurs.
She would speak more if she had the chance. — Elle parlerait plus si elle en avait l'occasion.
